What is the production process of copper terminal?

Publish Time: 2025-01-21
First, it is the material preparation stage. At this stage, high-quality copper materials need to be selected as raw materials to ensure that they have good conductivity, corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. The selection of copper materials is usually determined according to specific application requirements and industry standards.

Next is stamping. The copper material is fed into the stamping machine and processed into the required terminal shape through the stamping action of the die. This process requires precise control of the pressure and speed of the stamping machine to ensure that the size and shape of the terminal meet the requirements.

Then, surface treatment is carried out. In order to improve the corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance of the copper terminal, surface treatment processes such as electroplating, spraying or heat treatment are usually required. These treatments can enhance the surface hardness and finish of the terminal while improving its service life.

During the electroplating process, the copper terminal is immersed in a plating solution containing metal ions, and a uniform and dense metal plating layer is formed on the surface of the terminal through electrolysis. This coating not only improves the corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance of the terminal, but also improves its welding performance and electrical properties.

After that is quality inspection. The copper terminals produced are strictly inspected for quality, including appearance inspection, dimension measurement, electrical performance test, etc. Only terminals that meet the quality standards can enter the next process.

Next is packaging and labeling. The qualified copper terminals are packaged and the product information, production date, batch number, etc. are marked on the packaging. This helps to trace the production process and quality control of the product.

Finally, storage and transportation. The packaged copper terminals are stored in the warehouse and wait for shipment. During transportation, care should be taken to prevent the terminals from being squeezed, collided, etc. to ensure that they are still in good quality when they reach the hands of customers.
